All rubbing compounds are abrasive and can scratch gelcoat or painted surfaces if used improperly; always test a small area first. Work in small sections to ensure uniform cleaning and rotate your application cloth frequently to prevent reapplying removed oxidation. Once luster is restored, it is highly recommended to seal the surface with a marine polish to maintain the finish. Service Notes must be last.
