Wakeboss Shipping Policy

This policy details the shipping process for all products purchased through Wakeboss.com, including watersports gear, marine parts, and outboard motors.

1. Shipping Schedule & Processing Time (Standard Items)

This applies to all standard-sized watersports gear, small accessories, and marine parts (excluding outboard motors and HAZMAT items).

  • Same-Day Shipping: Orders placed and confirmed before 2:00 PM CST Monday through Friday will be processed and shipped the same business day.
  • Next-Day Shipping: Orders placed after 2:00 PM CST will be processed and shipped the following business day.
  • Business Days: Our shipping department operates Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

2. Outboard Motor and Oversized Item Shipping

Due to weight, specialized handling, and regulatory preparation, the following exceptions apply to outboard motors:

  • Processing Time: Outboard motors and other large freight items are typically processed and shipped within 2–4 business days.
  • Handling Fee: These items may incur an **additional handling fee** due to the requirement for crating, fluid draining, and specialized freight pickup. This fee will be calculated and clearly displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery: Delivery of motors will be coordinated by the freight carrier, which may require a scheduled delivery appointment and signature.
  • **Free Shipping Exclusion:** Outboard motors **do not qualify** for the $149 Free Shipping offer. Shipping costs for motors are calculated based on size, weight, and destination.  Please contact us for more information.  We keep the fees very reasonable, if any.

3. Shipping Options & Delivery Estimates (Standard Items)

We partner with major carriers (FedEx, UPS, and USPS) to offer reliable delivery. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.

Free Shipping

  • We offer Free Standard Ground Shipping on all orders over $149.00 within the contiguous United States (excluding outboard motors).

4. Shipping Restrictions & Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

  • Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT): Certain marine products (e.g., aerosols, certain oils, paints, or batteries) are classified as Hazardous Materials by shipping carriers.
    • **Ground Shipping Only:** HAZMAT items are **restricted to Standard Ground Shipping** only. Expedited or Air service is not available for these products.
    • **Contiguous US Only:** Due to strict regulations, we cannot ship HAZMAT items outside of the contiguous United States.
  • **Physical Address Required:** We **cannot ship** to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses. A physical street address is required for all delivery services.
  • **Geographic Limits:** At this time, Wakeboss only offers shipping within the **contiguous United States**.

5. General Policy Details

  • **Order Tracking:** Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number to monitor your package.
  • **Security:** For your protection, orders over a certain value (e.g., $200) may require a **signature confirmation** upon delivery.
  • **Damage Claims:** Wakeboss is not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, please **keep all packaging materials** and contact the carrier immediately to file a claim. Contact our customer service team for assistance.
  • **Incorrect Address:** If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipment.
