The Quicksilver 18458Q4 kit features a water‑separating fuel filter element rated at 10 microns and includes a blue screw‑in sensor to alert of water in the fuel. It is designed to be mounted under the cowl on Mercury/Mariner V6 EFI or DFI outboards made in 1996 and newer. With epoxy internal coating and corrosion‑resistant external paint, it delivers durability in marine environments.
