In 2023, John Akerman's redesign of the Ahi has elevated its wakesurf performance while maintaining its signature "ocean" style. The new design features a wider midsection, a moon tail shape, and a full rounded pin nose for improved handling and functionality. Additionally, the updated outline and channeling of water flow off the tail allow for increased speed and release. The Phase Five Ahi Wakesurfer is constructed with the innovative Flightlite V2 Pro Select layup, resulting in a lightweight and high-performing board complete with quad configured FCS Fusion fin plugs.
