Description
The 95295 cotter pin is designed for Thruster electric trolling motors (R, RL, RX, and T Series) and Mariner 30hp (689B) outboards. Each package contains one cotter pin. Refer to your owner's manual for detailed installation guidelines, including recommended thrust washers and prop nut part numbers to ensure proper fit with your engine or drive assembly.
- Use on the prop shaft aft/behind the propeller nut to secure the propeller to the prop shaft
- Spread the pin ears only 20 degrees to best secure the tightened prop nut
- Do not operate your engine or drive without the propeller nut in place and secured by the cotter pin
- To aid future propeller removal, grease prop shaft splines with Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101
