Add engine-integrated man-overboard monitoring and theft deterrence to a compatible dual-engine Mercury SmartCraft installation. The Mercury 1st Mate system connects an intelligent vessel hub with wireless wearable technology and the 1st Mate mobile app for added safety and security on the water.

- Wireless man-overboard monitoring: Monitors the captain and supports up to seven additional passengers when optional passenger fobs are added.
- Distress messaging: Sends the location, date and time to configured emergency contacts through the mobile app and a cellular connection.
- Theft deterrence: Prevents the engines from starting until the system is unlocked by proximity of the captain's wearable or through the app using a PIN, fingerprint or facial recognition.
