The Mercury 53336T fuel filter is designed for select MerCruiser 3.0L, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, and 7.4L engines using Rochester 2-barrel, Rochester 4-barrel, or MerCarb 2-barrel carburetors. This filter helps prevent water and other fuel contaminants from affecting engine performance and is installed just inside the carburetor where the fuel line joins the carburetor.
